This is the highest-level qualification in the CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport) international ‘suite’ of qualifications.

Operating at a degree standard this qualification is designed for the next generation of business leaders, helping operational managers and technical specialists to think strategically, carry out in-depth research and stretch their knowledge and competence.

The focus of this course is on strategic logistics and transportation management. Issues in this area will be explored in-depth and at a relatively advanced level.

The students are expected to fully understand concepts and ideas around strategy and demonstrate competence in applying strategic thinking.

Supply Chain Management /Production (Select 1 or 2)

Management in Logistics & Transport
Warehousing / Retail Logistics / Inventory Management (select 1 or 2)

Supply Chain Flow Planning /Supply Chain Network Planning (Select 1 or 2)

PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION BENEFITS :

Successful completion of the International Advanced Diploma, together with a minimum of four (4) years of appropriate experience, meets the eligibility criteria for student membership upgrade to Chartered Member (CMILT)of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Students will then be able to use post-nominals e.g. Joe Dengure (CMILT) to display their highest level of achievement and the Logistics Professional designation.

ASSESSMENT / EXAMINATION STRUCTURE :

Assessment is by examination and 1 assessed individual research project.

DURATION : 1 year part time ( can be over 2 years for extended learning students who may need more time to complete due to work commitments etc.
